However, the cost of living in this country is relatively expensive in comparison to the United States. According to studies, the cost of living in Bermuda is 535.5% greater than in India.
Switzerland, known as “heaven on earth,” is ranked second on this list. The cost of living in this country is 435.5% greater than in India, and it is the preferred tourist destination.
Furthermore, the Cayman Islands and Israel are ranked third and fourth, respectively. Iceland is ranked fifth on the list. In Iceland, a person typically spends $1,340 per month, which is more than Rs 1 lakh, on commodities like food, clothing, entertainment, medical care, transportation, and other fundamental services.
Norway, a stunning nation in Scandinavia, is ranked sixth on a list of the world’s most expensive nations. In comparison to the rest of Europe, the cost of food and transportation is substantially higher here. Also, the rate of VAT here is 25%.
Turks & Caicos Island is ranked seventh on this list. These islands are positioned in the British overseas, southeast of the Bahamas.
Last but not least, Ireland, a stunning nation and one of the most prominent tourist destinations, is ranked at number eight. Irish whisky, coffee, and other things are available in this nation. But according to reports, the cost of living in this beautiful place is around Rs. 1 lakh per month.
